Share Drafts (Checking)

Share Draft Accounts

With Winthrop Area FCU share draft (checking) accounts there are no restrictions on the number of checks you can write per statement cycle, no minimum balance fees, and only a $2.00 per month h service charge.

Our checking accounts also offer you overdraft protection. Each checking account is automatically linked to your share (savings) account. This means that in the event of an overdraft, the money will automatically transfer from your savings account to your checking account. This service is provided up to six times per month at no charge.

 

Visa Check Card

Most ATM cards allow you 24-hour access to your accounts from ATM terminals around the globe - but ours goes one step farther! The CU24tm Visa® Check Card from Winthrop Area FCU also works like a check wherever you see the Visa Debit Card logo. When you use the card as a check , you can make purchases around the world and have the amount deducted from your Winthrop Area FCU checking account.

ATM Card

You can use your Winthrop Area FCU ATM card to get cash from your Share (savings) or Checking account at thousands of locations throughout the United States. Within seconds, you can also perform a balance inquiry to determine the balance in your account. Remember, the balance will not reflect checks that are outstanding and may not reflect deposits made to your account the day of your inquiry.
